Dr. Matt Hayden

Matt Hayden

Matthew Jess Hayden was born in the mission field of Trinidad West Indies while his parents, Cedric Lee and Marilyn Mayden were stationed as medical missionaries. He grew up in the Willamette Valley of Oregon and attended home schooling for much of his primary education. This flexibility in schooling allowed for travel while his father relieved furloughed dentists around the world.

After graduating from dental school, Matthew once again became interested in mission service. He and his brothers started a dental company to serve low income Oregonians. This service included a mobile dental van which traveled to rural Oregonians in need of dental care. During this busy time of building a dental practice, Matthew and his wife were also able to provide dental care in El Salvador at an orphanage.

In 2009 Matthew and his brother sold the majority of their dental practice and started the charity outreach, Caring Hands to Mouth and the International division, International Caring Hands.

Matthew and his wife, Ronna raise their four children on a ranch in Pilot Rock, Oregon. He maintans a dental practice in Hermiston, Oregon. The reduced schedule at the office allows Matthew and his family to spend more time caring for humanity and sharing the love of Jesus Christ in practical, hands on ways!

He was also instrumental in developing a dental clinic in Basseterre, St Kitts, W.I., which continues in operation today.
