One Day Church Orphanages Dentistry
Orphanages

In 2010 board members of International Caring Hands visited a private orphanage in Cape Town South Africa. The orphanage is a priveatly run orphanage that relies on donations to sustain their operations.

While the board members were at the orphanage they were able to get to know the director and staff as well as the children. Currently there are thirty five childern in the orphanage aged 6-16. Even though their need is great, all of the staff and children were in good spirits and glowing about what God has done for them. The children put on a program of singing and prayer wich was very up lifting.

It is the desire of International Caring Hands to sponsor as many of these children as possible. Currently, three of the children are being sponsored. It is estimated that it takes $400-500 to sponsor a child for a year. Also, there are other needs that they have, such as a new roof on their leaky building, warm clothing for the children in winter, a fence around their grounds for safety and to protect their garden produce.

One of the sponsored students is in the process of coming to the United States to attend high school at Laurelwood Academy. This student is in the process of obtaining a passport and enrolling at school. Please consider sponsoring a child and possibly continuing their education through high school.

One of the goals of International Caring Hands is to visit an orphanage in Malawi while building One Day Churches. Please look for updates to the Oprphanage page following the March 2011 trip!
